Algorithmic Software Culture: Capturing, Theorizing and Regulating Social Media

Ivo Furman (Asst. Prof. at BİLGİ Media) has launched a project titled “Algorithmic Software Culture: Capturing, Theorizing and Regulating Social Media” in collaboration with partners from University of Copenhagen and The Open University of Israel. The project, which has been funded by Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation, is scheduled to be finalized by September 2018. Ece Elbeyi (Research Asst. at BİLGİ Media) will support the project as a project assistant.

BİLGİ Medya Bölümünden Yar. Doç. Dr. İvo Furman, Kopenhag Üniversitesi ve İsrail Açık Üniversitesi işbirliğiyle, “Algoritmik Yazılım Kültürü: Sosyal Medyayı Kavramak, Kuramlaştırmak ve Düzenlemek” adlı bir projeye başladı. Danimarka Bilim, Teknoloji ve İnovasyon Ajansınca sağlanan fonla gerçekleştirilen projenin, 2018’in Eylül ayında tamamlanması öngörülüyor. Projeye, BİLGİ Medya araştırma görevlisi Ece Elbeyi de asistan olarak katkıda bulunacak.
