Gokce Dervisoglu Okandan presented at The Princeton University Center for Arts and Cultural Policy Studies

gokce-dervisogluDr. Gokce Dervisoglu Okandan, Assistant Professor from Istanbul Bilgi University gave a seminar at The Princeton University Center for Arts and Cultural Policy Studies, titled “From Data Collection to Knowledge Creation- A Challenge in Cultural Policy Scene in Turkey”.

The presentation concentrated on the research efforts she has developed for CPANDA project, a national data achieve project introduced by Princeton University with various stakeholders. Dr. Okandan introduced the Turkish cultural policy scene, the need of systemization in collecting cultural statistics and discuss her research on CPANDA, as a benchmark example for prospective model proposition for Turkey.
