International Communication Students Congress

The Communications Students Local Organizing Committee at Maltepe University is delighted to announce the opening of the call for papers for the ‘Media, Youth and their Future’ undergraduate students conference to be held at Maltepe University on 28-29 March 2013.

Papers and panel proposals should be addressing, but not limited to :

·        Design and Youth
·        Popular Culture and Youth
·        Reporting and Youth
·        The Future of Global Media
·        Politics and Youth
·        Digital Culture and Youth
·        Technology and Media
·        Media and Youth
·        Science Fiction and Youth
·        Cinema and Youth
·        The Future of Digital Game
·        Communication Ethics and Media
Abstracts can be submitted via e-mail to by 30 November 2012 and contain a clear outline of the argument, theoretical framework, methodology and results. Participating students will be joining fellow students from Turkey and across the world to debate the raising issues in the area of youth and media in a conference organized by students for students, with the support of staff at Maltepe University’s Faculty of Communications.
