To participate, submit four to five page structured papers or special session proposals electronically using the conference management system to the appropriate track chair listed below. Important Note: It is against AMS policy to submit the same paper or special session proposal to multiple tracks. We look forward to seeing you and engaging in the lively intellectual discussions and warm fellowship that are trademarks of the Academy of Marketing Science and the World Marketing Congress. From newspapers to trade publications to scholarly journals, articles abound addressing issues of doing business in a new world economy. We, as international business scholars and, in particular, international marketing scholars, should be on the forefront of changes. Our discipline has much to offer when it comes to thriving in this new world economy. Whether it is conspicuous consumption or consumer thriftiness, online or brick-and-mortar, virtual or face-to-face, marketers are immersed in all of the almost instantaneous changes. The 2012 World Marketing Congress~Cultural Perspectives in Marketing conference provides scholars with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and research prowess to a boundaryless audience in the cultural mecca of Buckhead, Georgia (USA).
